From decorating picture frames to treasure shell boxes, kids will explore the beauty and versatility of shells while learning how they've been used throughout history—from ancient currency to Victorian seaside souvenirs.
We’ll also take a peek at real shell art examples and discover how these natural treasures have inspired artists across cultures and centuries. Parents are welcome to join in the fun and create alongside their kids!
