Join us for OSNA's first-ever Poker Run, an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, and friendly competition! The night kicks off with five vibrant host locations, each serving specialty cocktails and appetizers, accompanied by lively music and an incredible atmosphere. Participants will visit all five party spots to soak in the festivities and collect a unique playing card at each stop.
The excitement culminates at the sixth and final destination, where everyone will reveal their five-card hands to determine the evening's Poker champions. Celebrate the winners and cap off the night in style at this ultimate party of the season. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience!
Event Title: Poker Run: A Neighborhood Tour & Party
Presented by: Old Southeast Neighborhood Association
Purpose:
A creative new social event designed to bring neighbors together while raising funds for our 2026
neighborhood events, community initiatives and outreach programs.
Event Concept:
• Participants will travel between 5 neighborhood host homes.
• Each host offers drinks (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or both) and light snacks.
• At each location, playing participants receive a playing card.
• The goal is to collect all 5 cards to create a “poker hand.”
How it Works:
• 5 Host Homes: Backyard, porch, patio, living room, etc.
• 52 Playing Participants: Enjoy stops at all five homes, collecting 1 card at each.
• Non-Playing Companions: A Poker Player may bring an accompanying non-playing companion;
they may attend the parties at a nominal fee.
• Final Destination Party: A celebration to reveal poker winners, enjoy neighbors, and revel in the
winnings.
Key Features:
• OSE Neighborhood-exclusive early access to tickets until 10/15 at $60/$50
• Event expands to friends/outside participants until 52 tickets are sold beginning 10/16 at $75/$60
• Prizes awarded for the best poker hand winners.
Volunteer Needs:
• 5 host homes and 5 PR volunteers to assist at the host locations
• Setup and event coordination help. – 3 volunteers
• Final party support, location and volunteers. – 5 volunteers
Financial Goal:
• Raise $2,000 through ticket sales for OSNA.
• Provide $100 to each host home as seed funds for their hosting expenses.
• Cash prize expenses of up to $400
